As I'm watching tonight's House, specifically the conversation at the end between House and Wilson, my stepmom walks in and looks at the screen. She has never seen an episode of House, certainly doesn't read slash, and enjoys watching those romantic comedies with Meg Ryan/Diane Lane/Julia Roberts et al. During the final scene, she listens, turns to me, and asks, "Are they gay?"

Sheer beauty and truth right there.
