Ju-on 2
Yay, some J-horror. Granted, you may not have seen the first Ju-on, but rest assured, the first half hour of this movie will get you up to speed just in time for you to watch less than an hour's worth of actual new movie. You could do worse.
3:00 AM [SyFy]
Critters
I wasn't going to add this tale of carnivorous alien balls that eat people but then I saw the cast. Eliot's Mom from E.T! Arthur Dales from that alien ballplayer episode of "The X-Files"! Bob from "The Dresden Files"! Billy Zane! Good times, people, good times.
4:30 AM [The Movie Channel]
Dracula II: Ascension
Decent direct to video sequel to "Dracula 2000" which features none of the original cast, but does have someone killing a vampire by jamming a [holy] water bottle into its face.
7:50 AM [HBO Zone]
Leviathan
Robocop and Rambo's boss discover that you should probably leave Russian ships well alone, especially if they carry a mutant creature that attacks you with tentacles. Just walk away, man.
10:00 AM [FX]
Dark Water
Not the original Japanese version, sadly, but the American one, which is pretty good for a remake. This is due to the fact that it has good adult actors, sticks closely to the original feel of the movie, and doesn't involve people getting killed by dryers (I'm looking at you, Pulse).
4:25 PM [ActionMax]
Diary of the Dead
George Romero continues his zombie saga with this mockumentary style tale of a horror film crew faced with the undead. Low key, but still much more unnerving than a lot of Romero ripoffs out there.
6:00 PM [Turner Classic Movies]
Rear Window (1954)
Ripped off countless times in pop culture, this is the best "guy sees neighbor kill someone and tries to convince people of what he saw" movie.
8:30 PM [Cinemax]
Army of Darkness
Actually, this is also my favorite movie to show at Christmas. There's something about watching Bruce Campbell with a chainsaw murdering the undead to get you into the holiday spirit.
10:45 PM [Independent Film Channel]
Awakening of the Beast
"In the film's first portion, filmed in B&W, Dr. Sergio, a psychiatrist, appears on a television program on a panel with three other contemporary psychiatrists after he claims to have conducted experiments on four volunteer drug addicts with LSD in order to investigate his claim that sexual perversion is always caused by use of illegal drugs. As evidence, he presents a series documented accounts of drug use leading to lewd and bizarre sexual acts. Marins appears (as himself) on the panel with the psychiatrists as some type of expert on the subject of depravity. During the program, Dr. Sergio recounts the experiment to his colleagues on the panel, who argue with his claims." -- Wikipedia

Along the shore the cloud waves break,
The twin suns sink behind the lake,
The shadows lengthen
In Carcosa
Strange is the night where black stars rise,
And strange moons circle through the skies,
But stranger still is
Lost Carcosa
Songs that the Hyades shall sing,
Where flap the tatters of the King,
Must die unheard in
Dim Carcosa.
Song of my soul, my voice is dead,
Die though, unsung, as tears unshed
Shall dry and die in
Lost Carcosa
